I never knew how many different kinds of pearl necklaces were out there until I was shopping online for wholesale jewelry the other day and realized that indeed, pearl necklaces come in many different varieties. A larger pearl, for example, that is white, can in reality be worth far less than a smaller pearl that is colored the rare black or pink. Similarly, there are no differences, I found, between created pearls and natural pearls, with exception to the natural flaws that are found in oyster pearls that make them more valuable.
