A couple of weeks ago I fell over and split my head open. When this happened I somehow snapped my favorite gold jewelry necklace. I had a three or four inch gash in my head but I was actually more upset about my gold jewelry than I was about my wound. You see for me this item of gold jewelry has sentimental value because when my husband gave me it last Valentine’s Day I knew that he had a sound awareness of who I am because it really suits my taste. I was also touched because sapphire is my birthstone. My husband had my gold jewelry necklace repaired and he gave it back to me today looking as good as new. In fact it looked even better than before because the person who repaired it also cleaned it. I don’t think my necklace looked that shiny when it was brand new. I hope nothing else happens to this particular item of gold jewelry because it really does mean a lot to me.
