pearl necklacesOn the whole I prefer contemporary pearl necklaces and I am particularly fond of the green black color of Tahitian pearls. However I also think that vintage looking pearl necklaces can be particularly attractive. I would actually like to own one of those white pearl necklaces that are comprised of two or more strands. Such pearl necklaces remind me of old Hollywood glamour. For instance I can easily picture the late style icon Audrey Hepburn wearing one of those pearl necklaces; in fact I am certain she did wear one in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Multi-stranded pearl necklaces are all about vintage elegance and the movie proved that they also look very good when contrasted against a black dress.  I do not think that the Breakfast at Tiffany’s look will ever go out of style. It is still possible to purchase multi-stranded pearl necklaces today at various online jewelry stores. The black dress is still considered fashionable too, and probably always will be. Still, I’m not sure anybody will carry off the look as well as Hepburn did.
