Gold Jewelry
Not too long ago, I accidentally overheard my husband talking to my mom about gold jewelry. At first, I wasn’t sure who he was talking to, but then I realized as the conversation went on that he was talking to my mom, and about where the best places were that he could buy gold jewelry. I know I shouldn’t have been eavesdropping, but I couldn’t help myself once I started, and I could hear him talking about how he wanted to get me some gold jewelry for our anniversary, but the prices that he’d seen were outrageous. I guess mom must have suggested that he look online for the gold jewelry because I heard him repeat a website to her and then I heard him say that he’d didn’t realize that the prices were so much better online for jewelry. I just shook my head in amazement, but didn’t let him know that I’d been listening. I’ve been telling him for years that the best place to buy jewelry is online, because the prices can’t be beat. Obviously he wasn’t listening, but hopefully he’ll listen to mom.
