For some reason it is more gratifying when another woman likes my gold jewelry than it is when a man compliments me on a necklace or pair of earrings. Perhaps this has something to do with the fact that there is always a possibility that a gold jewelry compliment from a man could have an ulterior motive. When a woman compliments my gold jewelry then the chances are that she means it sincerely.
The last time another woman complimented my gold jewelry was at the hair salon last Thursday night. I was wearing a garnet and white gold jewelry set comprising of a necklace and a pair of earrings. My hair dresser Jamica told me that she thought I really suited the gold jewelry set I was wearing and I do not think that she was just attempting to be kind. I felt flattered by Jamica’s compliment because she is a very stylish woman and her appearance is always immaculate. I left the salon smiling because Jamica made my day.
